Dear Quincy Natural Foods Cooperative owners and shoppers,
We wanted to take the time to thank you all for the support you have shown during this unprecedented challenge of COVID-19. The Co-op is taking proactive steps to minimize the risk to our staff, owners, shoppers and vendors while still providing the best service possible to everyone in our community.
At this time we are remaining open and suggest that members and customers follow the guidelines set by the CDC and Plumas County Health Department in regards to social distancing. We will begin implementation of ‘curbside services’ for shoppers who are choosing to follow social distancing practices or fall under local advisement. We expect to have these services available Friday. Information about how to use our ‘curbside service’ will become available in the next few days. Look to our website and facebook for updates.
We have asked any staff exhibiting symptoms of respiratory illness or fever to stay home and notify their physician. Additionally, we are working with staff on a case by case basis to ensure they are supported. The state of California has extended its Unemployment, Paid Family Leave and Short Term Disability Benefits in addition to the Cooperatives sick and vacation leave policies.
